Expert Hourly Care in the Comfort of Your Own Home

We’re proud to be rooted in Stratford-upon-Avon, right in the heart of Warwickshire, where we first began providing local care services back in 2012. Since then, we’ve grown to support communities across South Warwickshire, Coventry & Kenilworth, and Solihull.

As we’ve grown, we’ve always stayed true to our commitment in delivering care that’s both personal and deeply connected to the community.

With local branches and dedicated teams in each of the areas we cover, we offer responsive, community-focused care. All of our Caregivers are not only local but also highly trained professionals who bring both expertise and a genuine familiarity with the area. We believe the best care comes from people who truly know and love the communities they support.

Whether it’s finding the perfect spot for a cup of tea and a slice of cake, suggesting a peaceful park for a stroll, or recommending the best local shops, our team is here to make your life a little easier and more enjoyable.

Meet Your Dedicated Home Care Team

What is the Cost of Hourly Care?

At Unique Senior Care, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care with clear and simple pricing.

Below, you’ll find the rates for our hourly care services. We believe in transparency, so there are no hidden fees like VAT or travel time for our visits.

Hourly Care and Support Services:

Weekdays:

  • From 8am to 8pm: £39.00 per hour
  • From 8pm to 8am: £40.00 per hour

Weekends:

  • From 8am to 8pm: £41.00 per hour
  • From 8pm to 8am: £42.00 per hour

These rates ensure that you’re always in good hands, with Caregivers who know your needs and are dedicated to making your day a little easier.

Reduced Rate for Off-Peak Companionship Support or Respite:

Sometimes you might need a little bit of friendly company during the day to pop out to the shops or give family members a rest.

During our quieter times, between 10am and 4pm, we offer a special discounted rate for companionship calls.

This is currently charged at £70 for a 2½ hour visit and is a great way to get the support you need when our team is more readily available.

Sleepover Services:

Need some peace of mind throughout the night? Our sleepover service is available from 10pm to 7am at £275.00 per night. This ensures you have the reassuring presence of a Caregiver at home with you in case you require any extra support.

However, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both you and them, your Caregiver must get at least four hours of continuous sleep. If not, the hourly rate will apply for the full shift.

Mileage:

Many of our clients love getting out and about with their Caregiver, whether it's visiting friends, nipping for cake and a cup of tea, or a routine hospital appointment. Our Caregivers are all fully insured to take you out safely wherever you need to go. For services that involve travel in the car, we charge 50p per mile.

Bank Holidays:

Our Caregivers work hard, even on holidays. To reflect their dedication, we like to ensure they are fully compensated, so on these days, our rates are charged at double the hourly rate.

Additional Costs

Our fees cover the cost of our care and support services. If you’d like to enjoy hobbies or outings with your Caregiver, we’re delighted to help make these activities happen.

However, any extra costs during these trips, such as coffees, meals, show tickets, or public transport fares, will need to be covered by you. This way, your Caregiver can join in fully, ensuring your outings are as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

What Your Hourly Carer Can Support With

Your Caregivers are here to make everyday life a little smoother and more fulfilling. Whether you need help with the essentials or just a bit of extra company, they’re ready to lend a hand with warmth and care.

Here’s how your Caregiver can help:

Personal Care: Helping with bathing, dressing, and making sure you feel your best.

Medication Support: Making sure you’re taking your medications safely and on time.

Meal Preparation: Preparing meals that suit your tastes and dietary needs.

Companionship: Offering a friendly ear, a good chat, and emotional support.

Household Tasks: Keeping your home tidy with light cleaning, laundry, and more.

Shopping and Errands: Running to the shops, picking up prescriptions, or handling other errands.

Mobility Assistance: Helping you move safely around your home and outdoors.

Transportation: Accompanying you to appointments, social outings, or just for a drive.

Specialist Care: Providing support tailored to specific conditions like dementia or after surgery.

Social Engagement: Encouraging you to stay connected and involved in activities you enjoy.

"I really appreciate the thought and care taken to make the visits interesting and enjoyable for my mother. She now looks forward to the company and it brightens her day."

What Makes Our Visiting Care Different?

When it comes to caring for your loved one, we believe that the details matter. From the way we approach each visit to the deep connections we build, our focus is on making every moment meaningful. Here’s what sets us apart and why families trust us to provide the very best care.

Proven excellence:

We’re proud to be among the top 5% of social care providers to receive an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the CQC. With peace of mind that your loved one is in the best hands, you can visit as a cherished family member rather than a carer.

Time to Care:

We believe quality care takes time. That’s why our minimum visit lasts one hour, allowing your carer to not only attend to essential tasks but also sit down for a cup of tea and a friendly chat. This approach ensures that every interaction is meaningful and thoughtful.

Discreet Support:

Our staff don’t wear uniforms so, to everyone else, they just look like family or friends who are visiting or taking you out. This not only maintains the dignity and normalcy of our clients’ lives but also promotes a more natural and relaxed environment, whether at home or during outings.

Quality training:

Our approach to training is award-winning. Our dedication to continually upskilling our staff with the best care practices resulted in us receiving the Princess Royal Training Award in 2021 and recognition as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care in 2022.

All our staff are well-equipped to provide everything from personal care to tailored support for conditions like dementia or Parkinson's.

Fully-managed:

We’re a fully-managed service, which means you have a dedicated Manager and co-ordinator for you and your Caregiver, at every step of your journey.

We take care of everything, from financial admin to reviewing the effectiveness of the care plan and liaison with other health care professionals as your needs evolve. This hopefully takes some of the pressure and responsibility off your shoulders and means that you can focus on quality family time.

Regulated by CQC:

Being regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) means we uphold stringent high standards in areas like recruitment, training, service and quality.

It also means you get things such as comprehensive face-to-face assessments to ensure that the care perfectly meets your family’s needs. This is something you may not get with an unregulated provider.

Continuity of Care:

You can rest assured that we’ll never send a stranger. Depending on the amount of calls you need, we’ll typically introduce a small team of dedicated care professionals, who will work together to ensure continuity in care.

Aside from being a friendly familiar face, it means they get to know your routines and preferences to ensure a seamless service.
