Hourly Care Roles in Warwickshire, Solihull, Stratford, and Coventry

Our Hourly Care Roles are based from our registered offices in the heart of Warwickshire, Solihull, Stratford, and Coventry. These roles are designed to provide flexible, part-time support that fits seamlessly into each client's life and routine.

As an Hourly Carer, you will assist clients with their daily activities, personal care needs, and provide valuable companionship, all within a schedule that respects your time and availability.

Live-in Care Opportunities Across England

We offer fulfilling Live In care jobs throughout England. Our clients span from Dorset in the south, Birmingham and the Midlands, to Norfolk in the east, and Wiltshire in the west. This is an extraordinary chance for Caregivers to immerse themselves in different communities and environments while making a significant difference in the lives of our clients.

As a Live-in Carer, you'll stay in the client's home, providing care and companionship to help enable their independence and maintain their wellbeing.

As a dedicated live-in care professional, you’ll be responsible for a range of duties, tailored to each client's unique needs. Your role is pivotal in ensuring clients lead a comfortable, dignified, and joyful life.

Extra Care Opportunities in Warwickshire

In our Extra Care Services, Caregivers work in communal living facilities, providing support to residents in their own apartments. This role includes helping with personal care, medication management, and daily activities.

It starts with our comprehensive induction training programme, which is structured to ensure that whether you're just starting in care or are an experienced Caregiver, you are fully equipped with the best practice skills in specialist home care.

Initial E-Learning Modules: At the end of your recruitment process, you will be invited to complete essential e-learning modules. These cover the fundamental aspects of home care, providing a solid knowledge base.

Three-Day Face-to-Face Induction: To supplement your online learning, you will then attend our training centre at Hatton Rock in Stratford upon Avon. This immersive session allows Caregivers to practice and refine their skills in a supportive environment. You'll also get to meet other carers and support staff to help you integrate into the team. 

Ongoing Professional Development: Continuous learning opportunities are provided to keep skills sharp and up-to-date. You will have the full support of a dedicated senior team throughout your career.

Understanding the Application Process

Joining Unique Senior Care is a straightforward process designed to ensure that you're the right fit for us, and we're the right fit for you. Here's how it works:

    Start by submitting your application. It's your first step to a rewarding career with us.

    Initial Contact:

    Once you apply, our recruitment team will review your application. If it looks like a good match, we’ll reach out to you to discuss the next steps.

    Interview:

     If your application is successful, you'll have an interview with our recruitment team. This is a great chance for us to get to know each other better.

    Compliance Documentation:

    After a successful interview process, we'll ask you to provide some important documents. This includes four references (two professional and two character references) and information for us to conduct a DBS Check, unless you're already registered with the Update Service.

  • 5

    Training:

    Next, you'll complete our e-learning modules and face-to-face training. This is a crucial part of preparing you for your role.

  • 6

    Meet and Greet with Your Registered Manager:

    The final step is a meet and greet with your registered manager. This is an opportunity to discuss your availability and any final details before you start your journey with us.

FAQs and Helpful Resources

We aim to welcome you aboard within a few weeks after your application. This period includes important steps like compliance checks and training to ensure you’re well-prepared. The speed of this process can often depend on how quickly you’re able to provide your documents through our onboarding portal. We appreciate your eagerness and strive to streamline this process for you.

Your weekly hours largely depend on your availability and how it aligns with client needs. Initially, full-time hours might build up as we align your schedule with new clients who are a good fit for you.

So it's fair for everyone, we do ask that you’re available to work alternate weekends. If there’s ever a need to change your availability, just let us know in good time – we aim for flexibility to suit both you and our clients.

You start you career with us by completing e-learning modules that give you a strong foundation in caregiving. Then, you’ll join us for an three-day induction at our Stratford upon Avon office, where you’ll learn about our care approaches, policies, and more.

Once in placement you'll have a dedicated senior team to support and empower you, whether you need help in your current role or wish to pursue further training in areas like dementia care.

Gathering references is a crucial part of ensuring safety and quality care for our clients and part of our regulatory responsibilities. If you’re unable to provide traditional employment references, we can consider alternative professional references from people who know you well in a professional context, like a teacher, doctor or other professional. 

A DBS check typically comes through in about two weeks, though sometimes it can take a bit longer due to various factors like previous name changes or numerous past addresses. It's essential for us to carry out this check when you join, as it ensures the continued safety and trust in our care environment.

If you're registered with the Update Service, this process becomes much quicker – just share your certificate number with us and we'll do the rest.

Depending on whether you're joining us in a live-in, hourly or extra care role, it may be necessary if you're driving to multiple clients. It ensures you're fully covered for business travel, including taking clients out on companionship calls.

Providing personal care is a key aspect of the role and is vital in supporting the dignity and well-being of our clients. We understand that this can be a new experience for some, which is why we offer comprehensive training and support to ensure you and our clients feel comfortable. Your ability to approach this with empathy and care is what makes our team stand out.

While we carefully match Caregivers and clients based on compatibility, we understand that not every match is perfect. If you feel a client isn’t the right fit, we encourage open communication and will work with you to understand the situation. If needed, we’ll seek to find a more suitable client for you, as ensuring a comfortable and positive relationship is key for both you and the client.
